WIND TURBINE GENERATOR
A Wind Turbine is a device that converts the wind’s kinetic energy into electrical energy and are an increasingly important source of intermittent renewable energy.
Wind Turbines are used in many countries to lower energy costs and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. Being naturally and freely available, wind has the lowest relative greenhouse gas emissions, the least water consumption demand and the most favourable social impacts as compared to photovoltaic, hydro, geothermal, coal and gas.
Zenith as a World citizen has always adopted practices and procedures to reduce its carbon footprint by ensuring recycling of waste materials and proper disposal of non-recyclable waste as per statutory mandated norms.
In the 21st Century, the advent of solar and wind technology has opened opportunities to enable Zenith to reduce its dependency on-fuel based power consumption and move to such renewable sources of energy. Keeping in mind its aforesaid principles, Zenith has successfully established a 1500KW capacity Wind Turbine Generator in Morbi, Gujarat which is being used primarily for its captive consumption.
It is noteworthy to mention that the Wind Turbine Project was implemented under the guidance and supervision of our Chairman, Shri. Sanjeev Rungta and the execution of the project was completed in a record time of less than one year and the investment cost of the project is expected to be recovered by the company in the less than 4 years whereas, the life expectancy of the Wind Turbine Generator is more than 20 years.
